Feeling for some extra caffeine? Drop by Kaffebrenneriet on Akersgata to get your daily coffee and pair it with either organic chocolate from Summerbird or our Scandi favorite Lakrids for some salty treats.

For lunch, check out the Food Court located at Steen & Strøm Department Store. Here you will find cuisine from every corner of the world. From the best pizza in Oslo at Mamma Pizza to perfectly balanced Thai food at EatThai, or a healthy and nutritious soup from WhatSoup. If you are in the mood for fish, try out the sushi at Jonathan Sushi, it's arguably the best in Oslo, or some dumplings and tea at Beijing8. In the older days, it was known for being a hangout spot for creative artists and intellectuals like Henrik Ibsen. Now you can eat lunch in beautiful surroundings at Palmen or Grand Café. They also have a relaxing spa and a rooftop bar.
