Kamikaze has opened two new luxury stores in Oslo center

September 21, 2017
Kamikaze has moved to Oslo city center after more than 30 years in Hegdehaugsveien. Kamikaze is proud to become part of the Promenaden Fashion District, Oslo's main destination for luxury and high-end fashion.

Kamikaze Men opened early September in Kongens gate. The luxurious men's store is inspired by international concept stores and features an integrated Champagne bar and exciting photo art on the walls. The store is historically located in the old venerable venue of Molstad, a place that has been linked to luxury since 1883. Kamikaze Men has exclusive rights and holds brands such as Tom Ford, Balmain, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared and Brunello Cucinelli.

Kamikaze Luxury Shoes. After several years as a leading multibrand store for luxury in Oslo, Kamikaze women wear has relocated to Prinsensgate 21. With this establishment, Kamikaze Luxury Shoes is the only luxury store for shoes and bags with brands such as Christian Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, Salvatore Ferragamo, Gianvito Rossi, Giuseppe Zanotti and Balmain in Oslo.

Kamikaze is owned by Kristian Horgen and was established in 1986. Kamikaze was for many years the only pure luxury shop for men in Norway. In the 1980s, Kamikaze sold luxury brands such as Armani, Cerruti, Girbaud and Gaultier. In the 1990's, the store brought in new refurbished luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada, YSL and Dolce & Gabbana. The store was led by Jan Roloef Geershing and Georg Paulsen (Rolf & George) at this time. Rolf & George, led the store all the way to the end of 2000 and are even today icons at the major fashion houses in Europe. Rolf & George will have a lot of credit for introducing luxury to Norwegians. In 2000, Kamikaze Donna opened one of the first real luxury multibrand stores for women in Norway. Kamikaze Donna mainly sold the same brands as Kamikaze Men focusing mainly on Prada and Gucci.
