People We Love - Edda Gimnes

Edda, may not be the typical Oslo Girl, at a young age she started creating clothes, and went on to graduate from London College of Fashion in 2016. Shortly after, she was awarded as one of ten “Fresh out of Fashion School Designers to Watch.” Edda lives full-time in London where she designs, and creates extraordinary work. Her fun take on fashion and use of decadent details, are both part of giving her designs a fresh twist, and more importantly creating looks that one has never seen before.

Edda has won prestigious awards for her work – such as AW16´s One to Watch The BFTA, Saga Fur Competition Award and Designer for Tomorrow. During the latter, one of the judges was no other than former Creative Director for Lanvin, Alber Elbaz.  

Edda’s designs have been featured in a wide range of magazines including Vogue UK, Vogue Italia, Vogue Germany, InStyle, Women's Wear Daily, Garage, Glamour and Vision China, to name a few.

Do you feel like you have seen Edda’s designs before? Well, no wonder! Edda has been worn by the likes of Gigi Hadid, Lady Gaga and influencers like Rikke Krefting.
