Promenaden Fashion District is located right in the heart of Oslo and consists of seven iconic streets, and these streets are coming even more to life this week. The area offers an exclusive shopping experience and a unique offer for the fashion conscious consumer.

With this project, we wanted to create a destination within the streets itself and an experience for the people who are using the streets daily, but also for the tourists who are visiting Oslo for the first time. Through this collaboration, we wish to bring more life and color to our streets, and spread the message of love and hugs to everybody. If the collaboration also helps to place Oslo on the map, as an exciting art-focused capital, it would be even better. In short, it’s the center of Oslo wanting to give a big hug to the rest of the world!

BROSLO, short for The Brothers of Oslo, was formed by artists Jonny and Nix. Without any formal art education, they managed to make an impact on the Norwegian art scene, as well as in Norwegian youth culture. They are known for creating large-scale paintings, sculptures and light installations and more recently worked collaborated on a capsule collection with Mardou & Dean during Oslo Runway, on the Spring Summer 2017 collection.

We are thrilled to be working with BROSLO. Art and fashion are the two fields of ongoing innovation and creative expression, and it’s important that we continue to support emerging talent and create an environment that not only surprises, inspires our visitors but also demonstrates Oslo’s credentials as a leading fashion and tourist capital.

We are so excited for our collaboration with Broslo will adorn the streets of Promenaden starting this Thursday, June 14^th, and we welcome both locals and tourists to experience the HUG LIFE.
