Nicolas Ghesquière presented his Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall-Winter 2022 Collection at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris on Monday March 7th.
The first time a fashion show was held at the Musée d’Orsay, Louis Vuitton’s Fall-Winter 2022 collection was unveiled in the central hall and Courbet Gallery, one of Nicolas Ghesquière’s favorite places. With light gleaming in through its glass roof, Nicolas Ghesquière’s latest collection is showcased against the museum’s works of art without incorporating additional set materials. Contemporaneous with Louis Vuitton, back when it was still the Palais d’Orsay, the Maison’s founder must have admired it many times when delivering custom orders to Empress Eugénie in the Louvre, just opposite.
