Loewe to open at Steen & Strøm
LVMH’s oldest luxury fashion house, Loewe, will open its doors to the public in October, bolstering the department store’s world renowned fashion line-up.
Boasting impressive attention to detail with its signature Spanish tiled theme, the space will span an impressive 141 sqm of prime retail position, with a total store area of 154 sqm. The Loewe offering will include women’s and men’s accessories, women’s ready to wear, jewellery, small leather goods (incl. belts, keyrings, straps), soft accessories, women’s shoes and eyewear.
Diving in further, shoppers will soon be able to experience Loewe’s beautiful interior design and eye for detail including ceramic tiles handcrafted in Spain (honey, light blue, white and green colours), concrete and Oak wood finishings and striking John Allen carpets, based on “White horse with River Sussex” and “The river reaches the sea”. Iconic modern furnishings will include Steltman chairs, martini tables, an Akari E Noguchi Lamp and marble podiums in green, blue and calacatta. Art pieces in the space will be sure to turn heads, including Bill Lynch’s: Study of violets, Brendan Hogg’s: Mandiba, and his 1916 Rising and a Hafu Matsumoto basket crafted in Loewe leather.
Annette Lund, Chief Executive of Promenaden Management, commented: “The addition of another major luxury brand to Promenaden’s portfolio is further evidence of how Oslo is outstripping the rest of Scandinavia with its luxury fashion offering. It has become the premier destination in the region, amongst those in the know, and is gaining international notoriety. Oslo is emerging as a major player in the world of luxury retail.”
The store will have dual entrances, an inside entrance within the department store and its own entrance from Nedre Slottsgate, with two windows looking out over Oslo’s premium luxury retail street. A unique transparent façade made of ceramic tiles will allow visibility from the department store entrance towards the retail space.
