New store opening: A Day's March
In this building that is just over a hundred years old, there were many unexpected corners and surprises to be found. The space is designed by Creative Director Pelle Lundquist and interior architect Daniel Braconier. The design is focused on creating an interesting experience for the customer, giving the feeling that there is more to explore around the next corner. Because of the age of the building, columns have been added to strengthen the structure, columns that the designers have chosen to incorporate into the design, making the space feel alive.
"We want the customer to enter a warm and welcoming space, with a material palette consisting of oak and marble, and furniture that enhances the different areas of the store. Contrasted with beautiful primary colors that will make you smile. We are happy to be able to work with Tea Nymark once again, a skilled decorative painter who has splatter-painted the walls throughout the store, a technique that has a long history in Sweden.” says interior architect Daniel Braconier.
About A Day's March
A Day’s March is a Swedish clothing label established in Stockholm in 2014, making premium essentials made to last, for men and women. The name A Day’s March is an old military term - it's how far an army can move in one single day. It reflects their ambition to make clothes to help you get through the triumphs and troubles of everyday life. The brand’s Oslo store on Øvre Slottsgate 8 is their first in Norway, and showcases their menswear and womenswear collections.
