New store opening: LOEWE
Promenaden Fashion District continues to evolve as Scandinavia's prime luxury destination, with LOEWE now joining renowned fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Hermès, and Dior with a store located in the fashion district.
Located on the ground floor of Steen & Strøm, the 226-year-old department store and the hub of the city's trading culture, and with its own entrance on Nedre Slottsgate. LOEWE is marking a big shift for the department store more generally.
David Wilkinson, Executive Director of Steen & Strøm, comments, "We are thrilled and privileged to welcome such a uniquely creative and historic brand to Steen & Strøm's extensive luxury offering. LOEWE's entry signifies the continuation of Steen & Strøm's strategy to elevate its selection by adding only the world's most sought-after and innovative names for its patrons."
LOEWE brings its distinct fusion of art, craft, and design. Drawing inspiration from Creative Director Jonathan Anderson's innovative CASA LOEWE concept, the spacious 154-square-meter store celebrates visual expression in its most expansive form. Curated artworks and modern furniture coexist harmoniously with an extensive range of women's apparel, bags, shoes, jewelry, belts, small leather goods, eyewear, and home accessories, including candles and rugs.
The opening of LOEWE on October 26th emphasizes Oslo's emergence as a leading destination for luxury and commerce as the Promenaden Fashion District continues to attract the world's top brands.
