This project is a continuous play on contrasts. Expansive volumes enfold intimate spaces. The dramatic rigour of modern materials demand to be seen, but are softened by traditional elements - an invitation to touch. The floor is mostly made with an Italian exclusive natural stone, ‘Ceppo di Gré’, but in some spaces the brutalist materials are softened throughout by floors of French herringbone parquet in aged, certified and sustainable oak.

A staircase, panelled with wood and characterized by a large Barrisol carved into the ceiling, connects the ground and first floors.

Individual ‘living areas’ are furnished with iconic pieces from the master of neoplasticism Gerrit Rietveld over CC Tapis rugs and the sofas in a palette of olive green are an invitation to linger. The changing rooms are generous yet intimate spaces with soft furnishings in creamy boucle wool.
